I had an easy time setting up an account and inputting student information as well as different assignments. This is great and would really be helpful for teachers to manage their students' grades, their different classes, and assignments.

Many teachers require extra time to calculate grades, and organize assignments, this is great because all they need to do is input information and it organizes and calculates them.

All in all, Engrade.com is a wonderful tool for educators. It allows us to easily manage our classes and increase parent-student involvement by posting class information online. I like that it is private, secure, free, and easy to use.

Flat Stanley Mind Mapping

This is my Flat Stanley Mind Mapping Project. I listed some of the things that I will be doing in the classroom. This is great because now I have something concrete to refer to when I begin working in the classroom. I have to say that setting everything up was difficult for me to do, however after playing around with the different features available at http://mindmeister.com/ it became much easier.

This is a great tool for students to use in the classroom for organizing or brainstorming ideas for certain topics or projects. Teachers can use this to create a visual classroom floor plan/map which will help students know where everything is at.

All in all I had a great time working on this project. The only problem was that I couldn't download http://www.jingproject.com/ onto my computer. I tried several times but it still kept giving me error signals. So finally I went to http://www.etrusoft.com/ and downloaded their Quick Screen Capture and it worked fine. Thank goodness!
